1 lb. linguica
1 large clove garlic, crashed
3 med. onions, sliced thinly
2 tbls. oil
1 tsp. salt
˝ tsp. pepper,
8 oz. can sliced, drained mushrooms 16 oz. can peas, undrained
l ˝ c. tomato sauce
8 oz. macaroni, cooked according to package
In large skillet on medium heat, sauté linguica, garlic and onion in oil for 25 minutes. Add sauce, salt and pepper,. Simmer for another 20 minutes. Add cooked macaroni and undrained peas. Simmer for additional 20 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan or romano cheese as topping
